As the Assistant Property Manager you will assist in overseeing day-to-day operations at one of our apartment communities located in Louisville, KY.
Experience requirements
• Related multi-family property management experience.
• Experience with MS Office Word and Excel is a must.
• Experience with QuickBooks software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
• Must be an energetic and fast learner.
• Must enjoy involvement in a variety of tasks in a team-based, supportive atmosphere.
• Marketing and leasing functions; prepare, track and produce traffic, market surveys, and advertising logs.
• Implement effective resident retention programs, such as move-in and service follow up.
• Maintain good resident relations to maintain greater occupancy.
• Collect rents, process invoices, make daily deposits, and enforce rent collection policy.
• Prepare paperwork for move-ins in a timely manner and in accordance with the property housing regulations.
• Foster and ensure quality based and professional service to residents and clients alike.
• Answer phones.
• Handle visitors and resident traffic in a professional manner and in accordance to all Fair Housing Laws.
• Produce and track service requests accordingly.
• Strong leadership and management skills are essential.
